Thin Coat (Anti-Crack)
Thin Coat (Anti-Crack) render systems are applied in thin layers of base coats, with embedded fibreglass and reinforcing mesh to prevent cracking.
This is then finished with a thin top coat in a variation of finishes and colour choice.
They are also known as Through Coloured Render.
Topcoats fall into three categories: silicon, acrylic and mineral render. Choosing the correct topcoat is important to maximise the benefits of your project.
They all have different benefits and properties – such as breathability, UV resistance, flexibility, and impact resistance. We will discuss the benefits with every finish so that you can decide which topcoat you desire.
Thin coat render systems are fantastic for new and old masonry, or render carrier board substrates.
Whether it’s a new build, covering up old/outdated brickwork, a small garden wall, or extensions, this finish is very low maintenance and aesthetically pleasing.
