Purpose: Hack off failing, cracked render and replace it with a fully mechanically fixed EWI system finished in grey silicone.

Project Overview

Regency Projects completed an external wall insulation installation for a domestic client in Meopham, Kent, whose property had old render that had cracked and needed replacing.

The existing render was hacked off back to a sound substrate before a 50mm grey EPS insulation system was installed. The boards were adhesive fixed and given extra mechanical fixings for additional security, then reinforced with a meshed base coat ahead of a grey silicone top coat.

This approach addressed the cracking at its source rather than simply re-covering it, giving the property a stronger, better-insulated exterior. What We Did
